About Us

MESA is an organization that utilizes experiential STEM education as a platform to develop autonomous individuals by strengthening community initiatives that promote and foster partnerships. We work to provide skills-based training that enables individuals to become self-reliant, self-sufficient, and critical contributors to their communities. Our programs aim to help individuals achieve financial stability both socially and academically. We implement methodologies that help increase cultural awareness and develop communication skills.

Through project-based STEM courses with job-ready portfolios, MESA offers a number of education programs for the people of Syria, Turkey, Pakistan, and Sierra Leone to help them get a job-ready skill set.
Apart from education, MESA aims to provide underprivileged entrepreneurs and small business owners with solutions to scale their businesses and help skilled people in underprivileged societies reach their audience around the world. The solutions include web development, e-commerce, digital marketing, etc.
The STEM courses offered by MESA are uniquely designed to provide hands-on training and project experience to the people attending them.

Our Story

Stratos begun as a result of societal need in developing communities

In professional and social setups where we have brilliant minds with lost directions, there was an essential need of a skill centric and professional centric education which was unfortunately not fully covered by most educational establishments in our communities.

The Problem

Lack of direction was ultimately causing damage to our socio-economic conditions, in recent years this lack of career centric education increased so much that it became the major cause of joblessness

The Response

Stratos started as a response to these critical needs of young people in society. For the time being the groups of mentors and the founders of Stratos stayed involved in several time-bound projects to serve these needs

Our Work

In 2018 we started in turkey to serve the Syrian refugees & underserved rural communities. A major part of this effort was focused on students building their language skills and helping them find a job or enter college to complete their education.

STEPS & Stratos

We expanded our efforts in Pakistan under the name of STEPS organization in 2020, we focused on digital literacy, digital trainings and professional development of college students and professionals and professionals in Pakistan

Our Work Process

We work in a three- fold methodology

Beneficiary

Our beneficiaries are people from different socio-economic groups and communities. Our beneficiaries span from the children from slums of rural areas to the undergrad students. We Believe in diversity and love the opportunity to expand our beneficiary base across cultures.

Trainer

Trainers work with mentors to help our beneficiaries learn and to work on the projects. Alongside the experience of learning and pedagogy trainers are actively involved with experienced professionals in their field, helping them grow as professionals

Mentor

The central pillar of our organization is held by our Mentors who help and support trainers in trainings and projects. Mentors don't have to be present all the time. Still, with wisdom and experience, they provide most value to our programs, trainer's career and in Stratos Projects.

Where we Work?

We believe in using technology to expand our reach and make our operations time and cost-effective. Stratos majorly works remote and works to reach as many as possible. However, we are always open to partnering with organizations for onsite efforts in a variety of regions throughout the world. We are currently establishing out in Turkey and Pakistan. Stratos is always open to expanding its operations anywhere in the world, whether online or onsite.
